Jobs you can count on is an NUW campaign for all workers. It is a long-term campaign, which seeks to change the lives of Australian workers; in our workplaces and in our communities.
NUW members refuse to be divided on the basis that employers call us permanent or casual, labour-hire or contractor. What matters is that we are Union members, not the company name that is on our uniform.
Take the pledge to stand together for jobs you can count on:
the right to be treated equally in all matters of employment; regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or whether someone is employed directly or through a labour-hire agency, because EVERY WORKER COUNTS
the right to collectively organise and be unified, regardless of who your employer is, because UNITY IS STRENGTH, and
the right to show loyalty to each other, whether an employer calls us casual or permanent, because NUW members are ONE UNION.
